/dʒɔɪn/
v. joins 2 joining 2 joined 18

I asked if I might join him.
The Winners Club is a great choice for teenagers. And it is so easy to join.
He got friends in school and joined a bicycle club.
The Pacific Northwest is one of the world’s best areas for beachcombing (海滩搜寻) because winds and currents join here.

join, combine, connect, unite
Africa is connected with Asia at the spot where the Suez Canal was dug.
She combined some sugar, flour and butter to make some cookies.
Let us unite to fight poverty and disease.
They danced and danced until a lot of us joined in.
Let us combine our two firms against our competitors.
The radio will not work unless you connect these two wires together.
Make sure the machine is connected properly.
The first stage of the operation was to join up the bones.
join, attend, participate, take part in
He never attended a funeral.
I’ll try to follow your advice about participating in students’ activities.
I’m not going to take part in arguments.
join in, take part in
attend,join,participate,take part in
join,combine,unite,connect,link,attach,couple,associate,relate
join,join in,join to
